Over the Hill Farm Celebrates Successful GOHJA Summer Horse Show Series

Orlando, FL- September 2- Over the Hill Farm held the second of their two summer shows for the Greater Orlando Hunter Jumper Association (GOHJA) on August 26-27, 2005. The shows were held at the Clarcona Horseman’s Park and had over 200 exhibitors. Classes were held on Friday evening and all day Saturday, with the BBQ on Sunday at Over the Hill Farm.

GOHJA was organized over 25 years ago by Bill Schaub and other professionals from the Orlando area. They hold eleven shows every year, and Over the Hill Farm is the host for the summer series: one in May and one in August. The shows offer 22 divisions ranging from Walk/Trot for riders 12 and under, to Open Jumper classes at a height of three feet, six inches. Over the Hill Farm also awarded the Grand and Grand Reserve Champions in thirteen divisions for their summer series at the exhibitors’ BBQ.

This year’s Over the Hill Farm GOHJA show was a great success. The hunter judges were Carol Barber and Bill Talbert, and the jumper judge was Lewis Pack.
