Karen Healey Stables Racks Up Numerous Equitation Wins at Gold Coast 6 and Showpark All Seasons Horse Shows
At the Showpark All Seasons show in Del Mar, CA, on August 31- September 4, Lauren Hester continued her dominance in the equitation ring. She and Timeless posted wins in the USEF Talent Search class and the WCE Medal. Hester is currently qualified for the USEF Talent Search West Coast Finals, the USEF Medal Finals, the Washington International Horse Show Equitation Classic Finals, and the ASPCA Maclay Regional Finals. In the hunter classes at Showpark, Mary Ann Weisberg-Perry and the venerable Country Grammar came away with another tricolor in the Amateur-Owner 18 & Over division. Against tough competition, Weisberg-Perry and the handsome bay gelding won three out of five classes and finished second and fifth in the remaining two classes. Karen Healey Stables also participated at the Gold Coast 6 Series Horse Show at the L.A. Equestrian Center in Burbank, CA. Michelle Morris rode Geoff Case’s Carfelio to fourth place in the Rosewood Medal Finals. Callen Sheller and Cavall finished second in the L.A. Senior Medal and second in the WCE Medal class. First place in the L.A. Senior Medal went to Yvette Lang-Einczig and Raul. The pair also won the Equitation 18 & Over jumping class.
