Posted May 4, 2006 Angela Moore and Land Baron 4 Win Palm Beach Toyota’s $25K Grand Prix at Littlewood
The awards were presented by actor George Hamilton, recently of Dancing with the Stars, and Danny Damos of Palm Beach Toyota. Angela Moore said of her 15 year old Holsteiner, “He is fabulous! We just bought him in November. I wanted to go fast in the jump off. I trusted him. I let him work things out and knew he would fight for it.” The course designer was Jeff Smiley. He said the most technical part of the course was the triple to the skinny. “The height is fine for this caliber of horses. The course is more technical than requiring scope. The time allowed is fair but snug.”
Samantha Senft had a victorious weekend. She won the Pessoa USEF Hunter Seat Medal, the ASPCA Maclay, and the WIHS Overall. "Gibraltar, who I showed in the Eq. this weekend, was amazing. I knew when we saw the course that is was our day. In the test for the USEF medal, when they asked us to do a change of lead, I had a feeling we had it won. Gibraltar is my baby and every victory on him feels amazing." Haley Constaza’s Caught You Looking ridden by Victoria Colvin won the $500 Aviation Plus Pony Hunter Classic. Julie Burton and Charleston won the Buxton Equine Insurance NAL Hunter Classic. Grace De La Gueronniere and Providence won the Equestrian Properties Marshall and Sterling Adult Hunter Classic.
