Ottawa, Ontario – The ‘Kubota’ Capital Classic Show Jumping Tournament once again jumps into the Nation’s Capital, taking place July 12-16 at the Nepean National Equestrian Park in Ottawa, ON. The five-day international competition will feature the world’s top show jumping athletes including Olympic, World Championship and Pan American Games veterans. Local competitors of note include eight-time Olympian Ian Millar of Perth, ON.

What: The ‘Kubota’ Capital Classic Show Jumping Tournament

When: July 12-16, 2006

Where: The Nepean National Equestrian Park, at the Moodie Drive exit off the 417 Highway. Admission is $7 per person on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and $10 on Saturday and Sunday. Children under 12 are admitted free.

Why: Spectators will be treated to world-class equestrian sport. Competitors include defending Grand Prix champion Frankie Chesler of Orangeville, ON, three-time World Championship competitor Eric Lamaze of Schomberg, ON, and 2004 Olympic Gold Medallist Chris Kappler of the United States.

Extras: Additional family activities include an extensive trade fair and agility dog demonstrations. The ‘KUBOTA’ Capital Classic Show Jumping Tournament is honoured to once again benefit The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.
