jerez2002weg.com - The Website of the Greatest Equestrian Event To Come!

Jerez 2002 WEG is now online with a totally new and updated official website

Book your tickets, reserve a stand, register as a volunteer, choose the best way to get to Jerez, apply for a link or visit the Games facilities - these are just some of the several services available on the new official website of jerez 2002 World Equestrian Games.

www.jerez2002weg.com, with its recent change of look, design and with updated contents, has become the official site of the greatest ever equestrian event, and also the best way to keep informed about everything related to Jerez 2002

The Organizing Committee of the World Equestrian Games, through the Jerez 2002 Communications Department, completed the review of the official website; an updated site which is conceived and developed so that any user, from anywhere in the world, can find everything is needed to plan and organize a visit, next September, to Jerez de la Frontera. The website will offer the easiest and fastest way to find out all details about the event and its organization.

From booking tickets to get all sort of information regarding the program and the competition venues the website is meant to be the most efficient tool to be used by media, visitors to the event, horse enthusiasts, the general public, Federations, riders and officials.

Furthermore, the new page also uses flash technology so that visitors can see the Games facilities (Chapín and Garrapilos) or navigate through the specific media zone where a special effort has been made to offer Spanish and International media a complete information and view on the event.

On the launch of the restyled official website, Antonio Ortiz, General Manager of the Jerez 2002 Organizing Committee, said: "There is no doubt that nowadays the Internet is one of the most useful management and communication tools for this kind of event where it is not always easy to meet the demand for information and services, especially when we bear in mind the volume and the difficulties caused by the time differences between countries."

To cope with the huge demand for information, Jerez 2002's presence on the Internet was, from the very beginning, seen as a project focusing on three specific areas: administrative management of the event, promotion and visibility for sponsors and official suppliers, and communications tool for the media department.

Likewise, the website is also a faithful reflection of the corporate identity of the Jerez 2002 project, and so Fino, the official mascot, becomes the perfect host on the Internet, helping web users to find their way around the different options available. With five months to go before the World Equestrian Games, www.jerez2002weg.com is already been getting large amounts of traffic.
