2002 World Equestrian Games Riders From Ireland, France and The USA Win Individual Titles in Show Jumping Fein Cera Wins "Best Horse" Title
Peter also took a moment to thank Conrad Homfeld. "I truly believe
he is the best horseman in the United States. Just look at his medal
chest. He's incredible. Just the fact that he is here to carry my hard
had around was an honor for me."
Well, Peter, there are a lot of people who watched as you went around
in the Finals and in the prior five rounds. People who are proud to
know you and wish they knew you. Horses don't make champions, but champions
do help horses that have the ability to become champions achieve that
goal. Fein Cera is one of those horses and it was you Peter who gave
her the chance to earn the Best Horse title and to carry you to your
Bronze Medal title. The U.S.A. is honored that you represented our country
and achieved this success.
