World Champion Nadine Capellmann wins at the Tournament's Prelude

Behind Monica Theodorescu (Sassendorf) on Cooper, Olympic Team Champion Alexandra Simons-de Ridder completed the lokal heroes' success on her eight year-old youngster Wellington. The Lambertz-Prize "Nations' Cup" is likely to be dominated by the German dressage riders. Today part one of the Grand Prix "Prize of Amil Health Insurance" started. The German dressage riders took the clear lead after the rounds of the two World Team Champions Klaus Husenbeth (Sottrum) on Piccolino and Ann-Kathrin Linsenhoff (Kronberg) on Renoir with 3391 points in front of Vice World Champion USA (3263) and the Netherlands (3209). In the individuals' valuation Husenbeth with 1720 points is ahead of Finnish Kyra Kyrklund (1699) on Andiamo Tyme and Linsenhoff (1671). On Thursday, European Champion Ulla Salzgeber (Bad Wörishofen) with Rusty and Heike Kemmer (Isernhagen) on Bonaparte will start for Germany in the second part of the Grand Prix. They will meet a strong rivalry, probably lead by Vice World Champion Beatriz Ferrer-Salat (Spain) with Beauvalais and the US-Americans Debbie McDonalds on Brentina and Lisa Wilcox with Relevant. The second part will start at 1.00 p.m. on Thursday.
