New York City, NY - August 13, 2003 - The management of the National Horse Show Association of America (NHSAA) has published the prize lists for the Metropolitan National Horse Show in New York City, NY, the National Horse Show Indoor Championships in Las Vegas, NV, and the National Horse Show Outdoor Championships in Wellington, FL.

Prize lists and qualification information about the three shows may be downloaded from the Internet at the NHSAA website, www.nhs.org. If you do not have access to a computer, please call (516) 484-1865 to have a prize list sent to you.

For the Metropolitan National Horse Show, the closing date for all entries is Tuesday, September 16. The entry closing date for the National Horse Show Indoor Championships is Tuesday, September 23.

At the National Horse Show Outdoor Championships, the closing date for the Open Jumper division and all Hunter classes is Tuesday, October 14. Friday, October 17 is the closing date for Amateur-Owner Jumpers, while Monday, November 3 is the last day entries will be accepted for the Victor Hugo Vidal NHS Equitation Championship. Points for all three National Horse Shows will be tallied from September 1, 2002 to September 1, 2003 (unless otherwise stated in the prize list).

The Metropolitan National Horse Show takes place on October 29 to November 2 at Pier 94 and the Showpiers on the Hudson Complex in New York City, NY, followed by the National Horse Show Indoor Championships at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV on November 19 to 23. The final show of the three events organized in 2003 by the National Horse Show Association of America is the National Horse Show Outdoor Championships in Wellington, FL from November 26 to 30. All three shows will be rated "AA" by the national federation. Started in 1883, this is the 120th year for the National Horse Show Association of America.
