IT’S ALL ABOUT DEPTH, DEPTH, DEPTH Show Jumping Team USA Wins the Bronze Medal Added to that, were the difficulties that Little Big Man had to overcome with an impaction and the fact that Todd’s horse is still a little bit green. Laura, Lauren and Cara didn’t do too badly in the arena, but Laura’s horse certainly had a tough few days, which left him a bit tired. Todd’s Pavarotti had the most difficulty in the arena and although it may have been a bit discouraging for Todd he also recognized that his horse still has a lot to learn and needs more mileage. After Pavarotti had a refusal in the first round at the very first fence and then a fall at the water in the first round of the team competition, it was amazing that this team pulled through with a Bronze Medal. You’ll read more of the specifics in some of the Press Releases on horsesdaily.com. Instead I want to talk a bit about each of the horses that make up our show jumping team. It’s time to let the horses take a bow. |
