The Officials for the
2000 North American Young Riders' Championships
Parker, CO - March 25, 2000 - The Organizing Committee for the
2000 North American Young Riders' Championships (NAYRC) -- Presented
by State Line Tack -- recently announced the line-up of judges
and technical delegates. The impressive list once again includes
many of the world's best-known Federation Equestre Internationale
(FEI) officials. The competition is scheduled for August 1- 6
at High Prairie Farms Equestrian Center in Parker, Colorado.
Dressage
Mrs. Elizabeth McMullen (CAN) will serve as President of the Ground
Jury and as Foreign Technical Delegate. Ground Jury Members include
Sra. Maribel Alonso de Quinzanos (MEX), Mrs. Anne Gribbons (USA),
Mr. Eduard de Wolff (NED), and Mrs. Linda Zang (USA).
Eventing
Mrs. Joan Taplin (BER) has been named President of the Ground
Jury, while the Technical Delegate is Sr. Jose Ortelli (ARG).
Mr. Paul Popiel (CAN) will design the cross-country courses and
Sr. Guilherme Nogueira Jorge (BRA) will take charge of the eventing
jumper courses. The Ground Jury includes Mrs. Sally O'Connor (USA)
and Sra. Mercedes Campadera Alatorre (MEX).
Show Jumping
The President of the Ground Jury is Sr. Ekkehard Krueger (VEN),
Sr. Juan Carlos Tafur Eisenmayer (COL) will be the Foreign Technical
Delegate, and Sr. Guilherme Nogueira Jorge (BRA) is the Course
Designer. The Ground Jury consists of Sra. Sonia Rabbow (MEX),
Mr. Thomas Michiel (CAN), and Mr. Walter Malkiewicz (USA).
FEI Stewards
The Chief FEI Steward will be Maj. Gen. Jonathon Jack' R.
Burton (USA). The Chief Dressage Steward is Mr. John Jack'
Fritz (USA), the Chief Eventing Steward is Mrs. Minna Renz (CAN),
while Mr. Art Gottfried (USA) will be the Chief Jumping Steward.
