Heather Bender now has a piece of paradise with her three FEI horses – Mikhail, Bono Sera, and Winwood and seven Lusitanos from Interagro Farms from Brazil, and her longtime companion Kazimierz Woniaczuk. For the well known American dressage rider, trainer, judge and coach, Heather has found "home" managing a beautiful facility Treasure Coast Farm for sponsor and friend Tom Mikes at Treasure Coast Farm. Heather and Kaz purchaced the neighboring 5 acres where Bender takes a short walk to begin her day.

Heather has lived a lifetime with horses, and a career she can be proud of. Heather's first sponsor Joan Wurtele bought her Bona Sera 10 years ago, and co-owns Winwood, the young horse who represented the United States at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in 2001. Winwood is now another horse Heather has trained successfully to Grand Prix.
