Natalie Lamping

A Lifetime of Competitive Success

"Each time I see Natalie at a competition," remarked Lu Spinks, well known videographer on the dressage scene," I remember her as a child, at horse shows, with those long pigtails flying in the air, and she could jump just about any thing in front of her."

Her adult competitive successes include winning the Individual Gold at the Olympic Festival in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and riding on several US teams. She used to run between the dressage and jumper rings, ever the multitasking artist.

In the 1980's she became well known for her pas de deux performances riding former protégé Darcy Drije, appearing in crowd-pleasing performances dressed up as such characters as the Blues Brothers and the Lone Ranger and Tonto, recently resurrected for USET benefit functions at Tempel Farms.
