Dr. Cesar Parra is a man of great faith and when adversity strikes, it is his faith that sees him through. That faith was severely tested in the final months of 2007 when Cesar faced not only challenges in his own health, but also suffered the unexpected loss of his rising young star, Donavan. And yet, through it all, Cesar trudged on with a smile and his faith. Cesar is an optimist, always believing that better times are ahead and he certainly didn’t have to wait long for those better times. By the start of the 2008 season, Cesar was back on track. His health scare was behind him and he started the season with a stable full of talented young horses that have already shown their potential on the show circuit.
