Silke Rembacz An International Business
After tending to her roses and birds, she begins riding around 7:30am and is hopefully finished by 5pm . She goes to the gym three times a week, and also likes to swim. ”I wish I had more time to go to the gym.” Silke laments. “I like to swim and to work out hard.” Rembacz, like many east coast based dressage riders and trainers, migrates to Florida for the winter months, where she has an idyllic location just hacking distance from the Wellington show grounds. Each April she returns to Sheila Buckbinder's Hope Acres Farm, in Stockton, New Jersey, where she leases 15-20 stalls, traveling several times to Europe finding and importing quality horses to train and sell. Assisting with the business is Suzanne Ross-Armando, who Silke say, “is always there for me, gives me confidence, and is a good set of eyes on the ground.” |
